Tony Fitzpatrick’s drawing-collages combine elements of drawing, text and found and collected materials like matchbooks, postcards, gambling slips and ballgame stubs. These works refer to Fitzpatrick’s ongoing project that acts as both the artist’s diary and a chronicle of the city of Chicago. Featured work has been taken from the artist’s books The Wonder: Portraits of a Remembered City.
